I’m Glad You’re Here

First Things First
My name is Raf, and I'm your friend! I love to describe what I do with a simple motto: I'm 50% psychologist & coach + 50% management consultant = 100% helper. My ethos as a "helper" doesn't stop when I clock out of my daily work; I love to give and have been volunteering for over 20 years, offline and online.
I'm lucky that since 2025, I've been given the privilege to offer some of my spare time as an active moderator of the largest online community about narcissism on Reddit (r/narcissism), dedicated to those with narcissistic traits and NPD, supporting over 77,000 members. I also moderate its sister sub (r/asknpd) that's geared towards non-narcissists wanting to pose questions about the subject directly to narcissists.
I've found that many falsehoods, misinformation, and myths spread in online communities by those with narcissism or NPD (forget about those so-called narcissistic abuse victims), as well as by those who mistakenly believe they have such issues; this has grave consequences (read about it here). Most of them are well-meaning individuals who find themselves without reliable professional guidance.
To help fill a void and to further support the r/narcissism and r/asknpd communities and their exceptional moderators, I've created Narcissism Center, a science-backed knowledge base designed to offer free, high-quality materials and tools for those most in need.

I believe everyone deserves a safe space, where clarity replaces chaos, and hope replaces shame. The Narcissism Center cuts through the noise to provide the accurate, trustworthy resource this community deserves. This is my goal and what I represent; it's not about me, it's about us!
Who Am I?
I’m Raf Adel, a UK-based psychologist who’s also running a successful business. For more than 20 years, I’ve helped businesses and people grow, get better, and deal with problems so they can thrive and succeed. While directing operations at both my companies in the UK & USA in hybrid mode, I approach my daily work with a genuine passion for everyone and a strong commitment to adding value and exceeding expectations.
A Lifelong Global Citizen
I've studied operations management at Harvard Business School (USA) and business management at the Open University (UK) and earned my Psychology BSc (Hons) degree from Cairo University (Egypt). Over the decades, I have successfully worked with clients and partnered with colleagues from various countries, including the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia, and North America. As such, I deeply appreciate multiculturalism and the incredible diversity of experience and mindsets that each party contributes.

Being Positive with the HNT-PCM
My fondness, as a psychologist, for the topic of narcissism and my personal transformational journey toward healthy narcissism led me to create the Healthy Narcissistic Traits- Psychological Coaching Model (HNT-PCM). This model is based on the principles of applied psychology and positive psychology.
I've developed the HNT-PCM as a practical solution based on years of experience, application, and in-depth research. It specifically targets those with narcissistic traits or NPD who wish to make a breakthrough and improve their lives in a short period.
Instead of focusing on limitations and negativities, dwelling for years on past issues, and asking clients to wait for ages to see any progress, the HNT-PCM offers individuals an actionable, step-by-step roadmap to channel their unhealthy traits into constructive, healthy avenues.
My goal is to positively empower narcissists with the tools they need to improve their emotional regulation, repair their relationships, and step boldly into a fulfilling, stabilized sense of self-worth.
